Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the Great Eastern Crisis through selected debates in both houses of the British Parliament. Special attention is given to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the attitude towards the Christian population. The Great Eastern Crisis marked the beginning of a new era, the era of new imperialism, and in this context, it was necessary to reflect on the views of the political and administrative elite of an empire like Great Britain.
