Abstract
Ljubomir Stojanović, a scientist and politician, decisively rejected the monarchical form of government during the Thessaloniki process in 1917, devoting himself afterwards to the spread and realization of republican ideas in the political life of the newly created Yugoslav state. The idea of national liberation and unification of the Serbian people was the cornerstone on which he based his views and interpretations of republicanism. The paper presents and analyzes the views and actions of Ljuba Stojanović on Serbian and Yugoslav issues, among other areas, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He wrote about it as a part of a broader problem of solving the Yugoslav issue within the framework of the Yugoslav state, for which he fought principledly and persis tently in his public appearances.
