Abstract
The topic of the paper is a diplomatic mission and a visit of Milovan Milovanovic, the minister of foreign affairs of the Kingdom of Serbia to the western capitals in October and November 1908 at the beginning of the Annexation crisis. The Annexation crisis was an event that fundamentally shook the Balkan Peninsula at the beginning of the 20th century, threatening to pull in the Europe into a wider conflict. The emphasis in the paper is placed on Milovanovic’s activity and discussions with diplomatic representatives of the great European powers in order to resolve the crisis and find the most acceptable solution for the Kingdom of Serbia.
